Adhesive Flexible Multi-Lock FAQs

As the name indicates it can be used in many different situations like appliances, cabinet drawers, furniture drawers, toilets, trash cans, etc. Never use these on windows as the UV lighting quickly breaks down the adhesive to make them unsafe. We recommend not using it on ovens/stoves. If you have double cabinet doors, we strongly recommend you use the Qdos Double Door Lock as that is specifically designed for that situation and offers a safer and better solution.
The double action lock buttons must be pushed in simultaneously in order to open. The push force is easy enough for an adult to do with one hand, but hard enough to prevent youngsters figuring it figure out and open it.
Position the lock over the locking guide on the mounting plate and simply push.
It’s 9” long and each end is 2” in diameter.
When installed according to the instructions the Adhesive Flexible Multi-Lock is surprisingly strong and will withstand a pull force of at least 40 lbs. This is way more force than a child can exert and will also keep pets out as well.
When you remove the Multi-Lock the foam that is in between the two outer surfaces with the adhesive will actually break, which is exactly what it is supposed to do. You can then take a finger and basically roll back the tape. Any remaining tape residue can be removed with a solvent type Goo Gone. This is a huge advantage if you live in an apartment.
