The Crystal Baby Gate is 30.7” tall, and adjusts to fit inside openings from 29.5” up to 39.5” wide. This baby gate cannot be used with extensions.

+ Can I use this baby gate at the top of the stairs?
Yes, the Crystal Designer Hardware Mount Baby Gate is approved for use at the top or bottom of stairs as well as in openings or doorways.
+ How much damage will this cause my walls?
Using the FastMount® Rails makes installation VERY easy and only leaves four small screw holes.
+ Does this baby gate work if it needs to be installed over a baseboard?
Yes, for baseboards up to a 4.25” high, you can use the included Baseboard Spacers. We recommend our Universal Baseboard Kit for baseboards 4.5”- 7” high.
+ Are there extensions to make this gate wider?
Hardware Mounted baby gates do not work with extensions. 39.8” is the widest it gets. We have other baby gate models that accommodate a wider space.
+ Will this baby gate work with quarter round molding?
Yes, in fact the Crystal Designer Hardware Mount Baby Gate has a unique removable Quarter Round Spacer at the bottom of the FastMount™ Rails.
+ What is the best way to clean my Crystal Designer Baby Gate?
The best way to clean Acrylic is with a micro-fiber cloth and a mild soap, do NOT use paper towels. There are also specially formulated cleaning products for Acrylic such as Novus 1 and Novus 2. CAUTION! – Never use paper towels. Never use any cleaning product that contains ammonia (Windex, 409, etc.). Never use abrasive cleaning products.
+ Can I remove this baby gate for an extended time without unscrewing the hardware?
Yes, the Crystal Designer Hardware Mount Baby Gate comes with a removal tool that allows for easily removal from the FastMount Rails.
+ Can this baby gate be used outside?
No, all Qdos Baby Gates are designed to be used indoors only.
+ What can I do to connect this to a wooden banister without drilling into my wood?
Use our Universal Stair Mounting Kit (sold separately) to create a sturdy, flat, vertical surface that does not need to be screwed in to the banister.
