We recommend making the extensions on each side as even as possible for the safest installation. See the instructions for your baby gate for details.
+ Is there a difference between Auto-Close SafeGate Extensions and Designer Baby Gate Extensions?
Yes, our Designer Baby Gate Extensions have two different lengths while the Auto-Close SafeGate Extensions are the same length. The Designer Baby Gate extensions only work on our Crystal Designer Pressure Mount Baby Gate and our Spectrum Designer Pressure Mount Baby Gate.
+ Why are the extensions two different lengths?
The Designer Baby Gate Extensions come with two extensions. The short one is for the hinge side and the long one is for the handle/lock side. They are different lengths because the height of the attachment points on each side is different.
